Udhagamandalam: Tirupur Basketball Club (TBC) edged out Southern Railway Employees Cooperative Society (SRECS) 67-61 and entered the last four of the M. Gopalakrishnan Memorial State-level basketball tournament ere on Saturday.

The results: Men: quarterfinals: Tirupur BC 67 (Ashok 22) bt SRECS 61 (Yuvaraj 24), Chennai Telephones (Chennai) 64 (Delhirajan 18) bt JBC (Udhagamandalam) 32 (Viswanathan 10), BSNL (Chennai) 59 bt Armed Reserve Police 41.
