CPI (M) plans drag-cart agitation

ERODE:
The Bhavani unit of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) - CPI (M), would take out a drag-the-cart agitation on April 19 in Bhavani.
The urgent meeting of the Unit held on Saturday, presided by its member, R. Baldevsingh, said that the agitation sought to draw the attention of the district administration over the bad condition of the Bhavani-Athani Main Road via Appakudal, and the Anthiyur-Sellampalayam Road. No action had been taken to re-lay the roads, despite several representations made by the public, various political parties and representatives of local bodies.
The cart would be dragged along the Bhavani-Athani Road.
