Right decision

This refers to the editorial, `Another road to damnation' (April 15). It may be true that the Karunakaran faction in the Kerala Congress has organisational strength but no political party can tolerate indiscipline. The decision to expel former Kerala Congress chief K. Muraleedharan was right. The party may be defeated in the next Assembly elections in 2006 but it can rid itself of all rebellious elements by then.
