LUCKNOW: The BJP vice-presi dent and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Kalyan Singh, on Sunday said the recent controversy over the RSS chief K Sudarshan's statements against the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was a `closed chapter'. ``The chapter is closed now. Both BJP and the Sangh leadership have clarified their stands on the issue and the matter has been put to rest,'' Mr Singh told a news conference here. Denying any possibility of change in UP BJP leadership, Mr Singh said present incumbent Kesarinath Tripathi would continue to lead the party in the State. On issues on which the party would fight the next UP polls, he said, ``Gaon, garib, kisan, naujawan aur mahila ka uthan (upliftment of villages, poor, farmers, youth and women) would form the core of the party agenda in future.
