Felling of trees
will not help
The felling of trees will not smoothen traffic flow, as vehicles will anyway be parked in that space. It will now be impossible to plant new saplings or replace the tree cover of the felled trees. I hope that the authorities concerned demonstrate better discretion and judgment in future. C.N. Kumar, Bangalore
Danger from
maxi-cabs
The vehicles are driven at breakneck speed posing a danger to other road users. Action must be taken to stop these vehicles from plying on the roads. Until this is done, fatal accidents might just become a regular feature. S. Kuppuswamy, Bangalore
