Constable's riffle goes off, none hurt

HYDERABAD: A constable's .303 riffle went off accidentally inside the Sanjeevareddynagar police station building after Sunday midnight resulting in an inch deep hole in the roof. However, none was injured in the incident. The constable, Raju Singh, 50, was assigned the duty of a sentry constable in wait. "The constable was holding the gun with the barrel upside when the rifle off, the S.R. Nagar Inspector, A. Venkataratnam, said.
