Hexaware Tech revenue up

Hexaware Technologies reported global revenues of Rs.164.06 crores for the first quarter ended March 2005 against Rs.114.37 crores during the same quarter in 2004, a rise of 43.4 per cent. The net profit was Rs.23.23 crores against Rs.11.53 crores. During the quarter under review, the company added eight new clients and acquired new business orders worth $32 million.

"The success of our focus on domain knowledge in BFSI (banking, financial services and insurance) and airlines is reflected in the new order book of $22.3mn and $9.7mn, respectively. Operating margin has gone up to 13.7 per cent. Existing client revenues also went up to 91.8 per cent, underlying both the success of our account mining and the potential of our client base," a release quoted Atul Nishar, Executive Chairman, as saying
