Letters to the Editor
It appears that the Delhi meeting between Dr. Singh and Gen. Musharraf is only beneficial to Pakistan. There was no discussion on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, the disbanding of the terrorist training camps in PoK, the handing over of the 20 wanted persons, etc. A "soft" border will nullify the construction of fencing and could attract an exodus of Pakistanis into India.
K.G. Acharya,
India does not seem to have learnt from the experiences of the past. Pakistan has always sought to cause trouble across the border and divert the Indian Government's funds towards increasing its military arsenal.
Ramya Vaidyanathan,
