CHANDIGARH: Mona Singh, more famously known as Jassi of the popular tele-serial "Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin'', launched an unusual new campaign of Bausch and Lomb here on Tuesday. The campaign, dubbed as `Transform with Bausch and Lomb' and on till May 19, offers a new pair of contact lenses absolutely free upon just walking into any of the company's authorised outlets in Chandigarh. Giving details to media persons at a press conference here, the Managing Director of Bausch and Lomb Eye Care India, said that a person needs to only step into any authorised outlet to take a trial and walk home with a free pair of Bausch and Lomb Softlens Comfort monthly disposable contact lenses. This offer also includes a free set of lens case and 60 ml. bottle of ReNu Multiplus lens cleaning solution. Waxing eloquent, he said his company's contact lenses helped a person to undergo `an inner transformation'. Pointing at Ms.Singh, whose character in the serial has undergone a sea change after she removed her cumbersome and heavy pair of spectacles, he asserted: "It is not just about a change in appearance and looks after throwing away those ugly spectacles, but a total change, not only in the way the world looks at you, but also the way you look at the world!'' He further said : "It is a transformation of the entire personality inside out and results in enhanced confidence in oneself, so that you are able to do more and be more than you ever thought possible, leading to the ability to see, look and perform better in all walks of life. Jassi whom, as a nation, we all love and adore represents that and more. I am confident that this campaign will go a long way and help create more Jassis who are eager to scale new heights and get more out of life.'' Jassi aka Mona Singh said that this initiative by Bausch and Lomb was quite commendable because to "excel in your field one needs the right mixes of talent, confidence, attitude, positive outlook and personal grooming.
