Commodities trading

MUMBAI: In a major development that could impact trading volumes at commodity exchanges, the Forward Markets Commission (FMC) has asked national and commodity exchanges to stop daily future trading on agricultural products by 5 p.m. except goods that have international link like bullion.

The FMC Chairman, S. Sunderashan, told PTI here on Wednesday that the decision had been taken following a joint meeting of all national and regional commodity markets.
