Media should apologise: Sudarshan

Jaipur: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief, K. S. Sudarshan, has said that his remarks to a TV channel were "misreported", and has demanded an apology from the media for having "created" a controversy over his statement that the BJP's old guard should make way for a new generation of leaders.

"The media should apologise to me," he told reporters at Viratnagar, about 90 km from here, on the sidelines of a Vishwa Hindu Parishad function on Tuesday.

A careful look at the TV interview would "clear all doubts" , Mr. Sudarshan said.
