Indroyal opens new manufacturing unit
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Fashion furniture maker, Indroyal, opened a new manufacturing unit starting with 150 employees at the Kinfra Apparel Park here on Thursday. The company is already having a manufacturing unit at Tenkasi in Tamil Nadu. The new unit here will be a cent per cent export oriented one, the Indroyal's Chairman and Managing Director, J. Sugathan, said at a press conference here. Indroyal Group has business establishments in the United Arab Emirates (Royal Group of Companies) and China (Emir International) also. In South India, it has a wide network of its own retail outlets, besides dealers, employing more than 600 people. The export-oriented unit here will be catering to the furniture market in the Middle East, Europe and the U.S., according to Mr. Sugathan. He said the Indroyal Group's total turnover was now close to Rs. 500 crores.
