IBS Software bags contract from Italian airline

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: IBS Software Services, the technopark-based world-class provider of software solutions to the global travel, transportation and logistics industry, has signed a major contract for delivering its airlines solution TopAir to ItAli, a start-up charter airline operating from Rome. TopAir is IBS' integrated flight management solution for managing the key activities of an airline. The acceptance from ItAli brings the total number of TopAir users to ten, all based in Europe, a release from the IBS said. TopAir had won five customers Farnair (an alliance of European Cargo airlines), Alpi Eagles (Italy), Darwin Airline (Switzerland), Windjet (Italy) and Hello AG (Switzerland) last year. Blue Panorama (Italy), Iberworld (Spain), First Choice Airlines (UK) and Swiss (Switzerland) are the other customes. Having carved a niche for itself in Europe, IBS now plans to establish TopAir in the Middle East, the U.S. and the Asia Pacific regions.
