Court directive to Pappu Yadav
Legal Correspondent
NEW DELHI:
The Supreme Court on Thursday directed the Rashtriya Janata Dal MP, Pappu Yadav, to cooperate with the doctors at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences if he was really keen on getting proper treatment. Mr. Yadav is one of the accused in the CPI(M) leader, Ajit Sarkar murder case.
A medical report submitted by AIIMS stated that Mr. Yadav was not cooperating with the doctors attending on him.
On perusing the report, a Bench of Justice N. Santosh Hegde and Justice S.B. Sinha said that if the MP wanted proper treatment he should cooperate with the doctors during his next visit to the hospital on April 26.
