Peace saboteurs find no backing: Mufti

Luv Puri

JAMMU: The Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, said the enemies of peace could fight with the gun anymore as their sustaining power, the people, are on board the process of reconciliation.

Addressing the Legislative Council on the concluding day of its current session on Thursday, Mr. Sayeed said there was an overwhelming support of the people to the peace process and public opinion was getting stronger by the day.

He said the constituency of peace in both India and Pakistan was expanding and for the first time, the President of Pakistan and the Foreign Minister of that country came out openly to condemn the attack on Tourist Reception Centre where the passengers of the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus were lodged.
