Aditya, Ashwini win titles

BANGALORE: Aditya Prakash and Ashwini Ponnappa emerged champions in the boys and girls under-16 category of the Shivraj Memorial State ranking badminton tournament here on Thursday.

The results (all finals): Boys: Under-16: Aditya Prakash bt M.D. Anup Kiran 12-15, 15-7, 15-7; Under-13: Himanshu Kotbagi bt Vinay Hari 12-15, 15-4, 15-12.

Girls: Under-16: Ashwini Ponnappa bt Shruti Sridhar 11-7, 11-6; Under-13: Taanya Ravi bt Ankita Rao 11-4, 11-2; Under-10: Anisha D. Karumbaiah bt Devika Ravindra 11-4, 11-6.
