VIJAYAWADA: On the 7th day of `Prajahita yatra', undertaken by the city secretary of CPI(M), Ch. Babu Rao, on Thursday, the residents of Singhnagar Vambay Colony, Devinagar, Ambedkar Nagar and other colonies poured out their woes over lack of basic amenities and also absence of employment opportunities. At Srinagara Colony, some 25 families, who were engaged in plaiting and selling artificial hair, complained that the railway authorities were pressuring them to vacate the site on which they had been living for 15 years.
