DAVANGERE: T. Gurusiddanagouda, Jagalur MLA; Mahima Patel, Channagiri MLA; and Renukacharya, Honnali MLA, have lashed out at the Joint Director of Agriculture, Shivamurthappa, for giving a wrong picture about rainfall and failure of crops in the district to the Central drought study team, which visited the district some time ago. The four MLAs have decided to go in a delegation to the Chief Minister, N. Dharam Singh, to plead for funds to distribute crop insurance to farmers.
