YHAI to organise cruise-cum-seminar

KOCHI: The Youth Hostels Association of India and Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation will jointly organise `Water World-2005,' a sea cruise-cum-seminar on `Water sports and adventure tourism', on May 1.

The programme will be held on board Sagara Rani, the boat owned by the KSINC.

The vessel will go up to 30 nautical miles from the coast during its three-hour-long cruise.

The Minister for Fisheries and Sports, Dominic Presentation, will inaugurate the event. The national executive committee member of YHAI, Jain George, will deliver the keynote address. Participants must register their names with M.J. Besty, treasurer, YHAI-Kochi Chapter, Basoto, Press Club Road, Ernakulam.

The fee is Rs. 250 per head (inclusive of food). For details, call 93886 00563 or 2425010.
