MADURAI: : The Southern Railway has rescheduled the timings of trains to and from Rameswaram for a period of 35 days, starting Friday, in order to facilitate bridge maintenance work between Mandapam and Pamban. The 797 Manamadurai-Rameswaram passenger will be regulated at Mandapam for two hours to reach Rameswaram at 12.50 p.m. The 6702 Tambaram Express will leave Rameswaram at 12.55 p.m., instead of 12.45 p.m. The 6701 Tambaram-Rameswarm Express will reach Rameswaram at 1.30 p.m., instead of 1.20 p.m. The 792 Tiruchi passenger will leave Rameswaram at 1.35 p.m., instead of 1.30 p.m. The 791 Rameswaram passenger will reach Rameswaram at 2.15 p.m., instead of 2.10 p.m.
