VIJAYAWADA: Two persons died and another seriously injured in an explosion at an air-cooler assembling unit at Addada village of Pamarru mandal, on Thursday. The unit belonged to Chandrasekhar, an ex-serviceman from Gudivada. Police said the explosion occurred when four technicians, Kishore, 35, Vardhan, 30, Mohammed Imtiyaz, 18 and Mohammad Aftab Alam, 20, were engrossed in moulding works using chemicals. All the four were natives of Bihar and were sent to the unit by a contractor, Koteswara Rao, from Moulali. Kishore and Vardhan died on the spot and Imtiyaz sustained severe injuries while Aftab escaped unhurt. Imtiyaz was shifted to Gudivada hospital. The Superintendent of Police, N.
