Prisoner escapes

NAGERCOIL: The police are on the lookout for a prisoner who escaped while undergoing a medical check-up in the Asaripallam Government medical college hospital early on Friday morning.

Balakrishnan (24) of Myladi was arrested in a case of outraging the modesty of a minor girl of Thazakudi.
