Dental students' petitions dismissed
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE:
The High Court has dismissed petitions by several dental students seeking a direction to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) not to conduct counselling for admission to postgraduate dental seats in private and government colleges and deemed universities in the State.
The petitioners H.G. Aparna and six others, all dental students, said the RGUHS had not followed the High Court directives relating to award of marks in the entrance test to PG courses conducted by the RGUHS on February 6, 2005. When the key (answer) was published on February 6, they noticed many errors. They challenged the errors by paying the fee of Rs. 1,000 and submitted the challenged answers along with the relevant extract of the textbook.
