The Hindu opens branch office at Vellore

VELLORE: : A branch office of The Hindu was opened here on Friday as part of the newspaper's efforts to enhance its service to readers and advertising clients in Vellore and Tiruvannamalai districts.

The Chief Advertisement Manager, V. Kalidas, lighted a lamp.

A host of senior staff from the newspaper's headquarters in Chennai took part in the simple function. Prominent well wishers of the newspapers, including businessman V.R. Pattabhiraman, D. Maninathan, secretary, Dhanabagyam Krishnaswami Mudaliar College for Women, and Shankar Viswanathan, Pro-Chancellor, Vellore Institute of Technology, graced the occasion.

N. Joshua, Pondicherry region's Branch Manager, said clients in Vellore and Tiruvannamalai districts could send in their advertisements to the new office, at 19-A, First Floor, Officer's Line, Vellore 632001 (Phone 2222777.) Press releases and related material could also be forwarded to this address.
