HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has said that hall tickets of candidates who have qualified for the Group-1 Mains Examination to be held from May 1 have been despatched. The APPSC secretary said in a press release on Saturday that the candidates should contact the nearest post office regarding delivery of hall tickets. Those who have not received the hall tickets may log on to the commission's website http://appsc.ap.nic.in/. to download duplicate copies. They can also obtain duplicate hall tickets from eSeva centres in the twin cities.
New courses offered
The UGC-Academic Staff College of Osmania University has got the approval to conduct 19 orientation and refresher courses for the year 2005-2006. The courses to be conducted include four orientation programmes, one orientation course for academic administrators and one workshop for principals. The UGC-ASC director, P.L. Vishweshwer Rao, said the UGC had also given permission to conduct 13 refresher courses in subjects relating to Advanced International Relations, Chemistry, Commerce, Economics, Education, English, Environmental Studies, Hindi, Life Sciences, Management, Physical Education, Physics and Telugu. The courses would commence on May 1, 2005, and lecturers can contact Prof. Rao on 27098102 and 27682346 for details.
