Campaign against globalisation
Special Correspondent
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
: The former Chief Minister A.K. Antony has taken exception to the attempt by the multi-national companies that came to the country as part of liberalisation to appropriate all the natural resources. Inaugurating a year-long campaign against globalisation at the Gandhi Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday, he said that the country did not require liberalisation of that brand. He wanted the Government to adopt a liberal stand towards the khadi sector, which protected small industries in the context of liberalisation.
