Not healthy

With the UPA Government maintaining that none, including former Defence Minister George Fernandes, will be spared if is found that the Kargil excuse was used to purchase defence equipment with the motive of personal benefit, once again defence purchases have become a matter of controversy. Every time a new government assumes power at the Centre, it seeks to block the purchase of quality equipment by alleging irregularities. This is not a healthy practice.
