BJP should listen to Sangh Parivar, says Advani

Special Correspondent

JAIPUR: The Bharatiya Janata Party president, L.K. Advani, has said the party needs to listen to the Sangh Parivar. "The suggestions from the Sangh Parivar should be taken seriously," he said at the concluding session of a two-day meeting of the party's State working committee on Sunday.

"The party owes its victories in the past to the support from the Sangh Parivar, hard work done by the party cadre and the people's support," Mr. Advani said, exhorting partymen not to ignore these three categories. "None of them should be neglected," he said.

During his two-day visit to the Rajasthan capital, Mr. Advani avoided talking anything more about the Sangh Parivar but for this brief reference.
