PATNA: A three-member team of the Bharatiya Janata Party says there was no attack on the Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad, when he was on a visit to Vadodara on his way to the accident site of the Sabarmati Express. The BJP vice-president, S.K. Modi, who led the team, told reporters that he would submit his report to the party chief, L.K. Advani, on Monday when he would also raise the issue on the floor of the Lok Sabha to demand the constitution of a House committee to go into the matter. He said the team did not come across any evidence to prove that Mr. Prasad's car had been attacked or that a murderous attack took place. He would urge the Government to place on the table of the House the reports of the Gujarat Governor and the State Government on the incident. The BJP would also press for the placement of the forensic report on the damage to the car and the driver's statement to the police. Mr. Modi claimed that the driver was unaware when and how the windscreen was smashed.
