PATNA: The senior Janata Dal (United) leader, Nitish Kumar, today criticised the efforts of the Lok Jan Shakti Party chief and Union Steel Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan, to form a government within three weeks, saying that he would not fall into his trap for a second time. Mr. Kumar was as critical of Mr. Paswan while addressing party workers as he was during his brief meeting with reporters. "How can I repose faith in such a man who left me in the lurch and took no pity on my plight? Is it a new joke that he intends to play by claiming that he had a formula for cobbling [together] a government in a fortnight? At least I am not a person who would waste time on speculation. If there is any proposal that is put to us, we will think [about it]," he said. Mr. Kumar wondered if Mr. Paswan was affected by the power crisis in the State. "He should come out of his room in the five-star hotel and then he would realise the truth."
