Akali Dal stages protest march

NEW DELHI:
National Akali Dal today staged a protest march demanding the resignation of Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit, for what they said ``her failure to check overbilling by digital electricity meters'' and demanded a CBI probe into electricity privatisation in the state.
In his address at the march at Jantar Mantar, NAD president, Paramjeet Singh Pamma, said Dikshit has no right to continue as the Chief Minister and warned that her continuing in the post would be harmful to her party. NAD workers also burned effigies of the Chief Minister and digital electronic meters, a party release said here.- PTI
