BANGALORE: A man allegedly murdered his 25-year-old wife on Saturday night following a quarrel triggered by her refusal to visit his ailing father. The police said the accused, Rajappa, a barber with a shop in Peenya 2nd Stage, was married to Manjula (25), a garment factory worker, several years ago. The two were staying in a house near the shop. Rajappa frequently quarrelled with his wife suspecting her fidelity, the police said. A few days ago, Rajappa's father was admitted to a hospital in Chikmagalur. On Saturday, he asked Manjula to go with him to the hospital. When she refused, Rajappa picked a quarrel and allegedly stabbed her with a knife.
