SAKLESHPUR: Toll in the illicit liquor tragedy in the three villages of Bage and Belagodu gram panchayat limits in Sakelshpur taluk of Hassan district went up to 12 with the death of three more persons on Monday. Sources in the Police Department gave the names of the three victims as Pushpa Doregannan (55) of Bage, Babu Maradi (35) of Ramanagara, and Kantha of Kakanamane villages. As many as three persons have been arrested in connection with the incident. The police took Jayakumar, an alleged bootlegger, into custody today. The number of in-patients at Crawford Hospital, Sakleshpur, is now 24, according to the sources in the district administration.
