Different colleges stake claim to top slots

HYDERABAD: N. Pavan Kumar of Narayana College, Dilsukhnagar and Ayesh Fatima of M.S. Junior College, Masab Tank bagged the top position in the MPC stream by scoring 984 marks each while Maganti Archana of Sri Chaitanya got the top rank in the BiPC stream scoring 982 marks.

Highest marks in MEC

Anita Reddy of Vijayawada Nalanda institutions scored the highest marks in the MEC stream. She secured 946 marks.

In a statement here, Sri Chaitanya institutions said more than 500 of its students scored above 950 marks while Narayana Institutions said 30 per cent of its students got more than 900 marks including 157 in the top 10 scores.

Sri Chaitanya said more than 200 of its students made it to top 10 scores.

The Vignan Junior College said 21 of its students in the MPC stream were in the first 10 scores while New Generation Junior College claimed that 36 of its students scored more than 950 marks.

Similar claims were made by Nagarjuna Junior college, S.R. Nagar, Vikas Institutions and the Kakatiya Academy.
