Wrong priorities?

The attack on Mr. Prasad in Vadodara, allegedly by Sangh Parivar activists, deserves condemnation. But while our Government at the Centre has given so much importance to the issue, it has found it sufficient to just lodge a protest with the Bangladeshi authorities for the unprovoked attack and the killing of a BSF officer by BDR personnel. Are the lives of our security personnel cheaper than the windscreens of politicians' cars?

T.S. Kalyanaraman,
Chennai
