Special Correspondent

Available in a three-litre multitronic engine with front wheel drive

NEW DELHI: Luxury carmaker Audi announced on Tuesday the launch of the new A6 in India. The new model has been highly anticipated as it is the first mainstream production car displaying the new design evolution for the Audi brand, and is expected to help grow sales for Audi globally and in India.

The A6 is one of the most technologically progressive and significant cars in the Audi range.

It continues the trend set by the A8 of introducing unprecedented levels of sportiness within its segment, combined with supreme comfort.

The company said that the new A6 was available in a three-litre multitronic engine with front wheel drive.

The previous A6 has been popular and successfully sold in Asia Pacific. Globally, over one million units of the previous A6 generation were sold.

In the Asia Pacific region, the A6 has been one of Audi's most important models.
