Siemens pays 45 p.c. interim
CHENNAI:
Siemens has posted a sales turnover of Rs. 714.90 crores for the second quarter ended March 31, 2005 against Rs. 473.10 crores in the same period of the previous year, a growth of 51 per cent. The net profit too jumped by 89 per cent to Rs. 79.4 crores from Rs. 42 crores. The board has recommended an interim dividend of 45 per cent (Rs. 4.50 per share). The company has decided to amalgamate its wholly owned subsidiary, Demag Delaval Industrial Turbomachinery Pvt Ltd, with the company, subject to approval.
