Cour order on Yeleru panel revival hailed

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Hailing the High Court order striking down the revival of the Justice Somasekhara Commission of Inquiry into Yeleru land scam, the Telugu Desam described it as yet another "slap" on the face of the Government. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, the Telugu Desam leaders -- Kadiam Srihari and Gutta Sukhender Reddy -- said the order upheld the party's stand and exposed the Government's decision-making process. Responding to another question, they said there was no need for a fresh Commission, as appropriate action was taken against officials involved in the scam during TDP regime.
