Power shutdown

There will be power shutdown in some areas of the city between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday. The affected areas are: Balaji Nagar (part), Siripuram junction, Daspalla Hills, Governor bungalow and adjoining areas.

SSC supplementary examination

The SSC advanced supplementary examination will be held from May 26 to June 8, according to the District Educational Officer, R. Surender Reddy.

Fee concession for scribes' children

Children of journalists and non-journalists working in newspapers and electronic media can avail themselves of 50 per cent tuition fee concession in schools run by the local branch of the A.P. Tutorials and Convents Association, according to the city unit of Journalists Association of Andhra Pradesh.
