Videocon plans GDR issue

MUMBAI: Videocon Industries will issue Global Depository Receipts (GDR) for Rs. 2,000 crores to finance business growth plans. The shareholders at the extra ordinary general meeting have approved the issue of GDR through prospectus or by private placement on preferential basis or on rights basis, the company informed the BSE on Wednesday.
