CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, on Wednesday announced that Panipat would be developed as the petro-chemical hub of the State so that the downstream oil industries could be set up there, thus benefiting the people of the historic town. Talking to media persons at Panipat, Mr.Hooda said that this would also help in generating more employment opportunities and improving the financial position of the people of the area. He disclosed that the foundation stone of the elevated flyover at Panipat would be laid in the next three to four months.
