Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Lakshmaiah said one could also find over telephone, status of the complaint given by using the unique docket number. The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajashekhara Reddy, had promised the call centre during the launch of Rajiv Nagara Baata.

He thanked P.K. Mohanty, Director-General, Centre for Good Governance, for coming up with a good package.

Dr. Mohanty said such call centres would be gradually opened in all districts.

The CGG had developed a unique information system for the Chief Minister's Office. It had also developed District Call Centre, legal caseload management information system, petition monitoring and irrigation MIS. Dr. Mohanty referred to the Instantaneous Access to Exceptional Information (INSTAXX) package developed by CGG and said it was extremely useful in the development of the Country Wide Instant Alert Network.
