Court order on CBSE results in Andamans

Legal Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court today permitted the Central Board of Secondary Education to declare the 10+2 examination results in the tsunami-affected Andaman and Nicobar Islands by June 30 instead of June 10 as per the court's earlier direction. A Bench, consisting of Justice Y.K. Sabharwal and Justice Tarun Chatterjee, passed an order on an application filed by the CBSE seeking extension of the time in view of the peculiar situation arising out of the devastation caused by the tsunami.
