Staff Reporter PONDICHERRY: The Department of Food Cell seized 2000 liters of blue kerosene and rice from an illegal godown at Andiarpalayam Main Road, Korukumedu in Thavalakuppam on Wednesday. A press release from the Food Cell said that the kerosene and rice meant for sale through Public Distribution System in Pondicherry was kept in a place, which does not have the license. Police suspect that the kerosene and rice was stored in the godown with the intention of being transported to Tamil Nadu.
