Two killed in accident

KOLLAM: Two motorcyclists were killed when their vehicle collided with a lorry on the National Highway at Kottarakara on Thursday.

One of them, S. Udayakumar, 33, was the Anakottur branch secretary of the CPI(M).

The other person was identified as G. Krishna Kumar (27).

While Udayakumar died on the spot, Krishna Kumar died while being taken to hospital. The Kottarakara Police have registered a case.
