GDP estimation on new base

NEW DELHI: The Government on Thursday said the revised series of GDP estimation, on the new base year of 1999-2000 against the existing 1993-94, is planned to be put into effect by January-end next year, the Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation, Oscar Fernandes, told Parliament.
