BIDAR: The Union Government has refused to include Koli community under the Scheduled Tribe list, the Minister for Forests, Gurupadappa Nagamarapalli, said on Wednesday. Addressing a rally of members of the community in Jogewadi in Basavakalyan taluk, Mr. Nagamarapalli said the State Government would send the proposal again to the Union Government with amendments. "We will also lobby with members of the Union Cabinet," he said. B. Narayan, president of the State unit of the National Literacy Mission Authority, spoke.
