HYDERABAD: Except the BJP, no other party would be able to achieve separate Telangana, the party State president, N. Indrasena Reddy, claimed here on Thursday. Addressing a press conference, Mr. Indrasena Reddy maintained that the BJP was still committed to the Kakinada resolution on Telangana. He ridiculed the TRS leadership for making tall claims here while nothing concrete was happening in Delhi. He said that TRS would get merged with the Congress like it happened in the past with Telangana Praja Samithi formed by the former Chief Minister, M. Channa Reddy.
Tenders row
Accusing the Government of acting hastily by calling tenders for irrigation projects even before they received clearances, he demanded that the files be made public. He charged the Government with insulting MLAs and the Assembly by not placing the files in the House. He also found fault with the Government for giving administrative sanction for Vamsadhara stage-II under the EPC system at estimated cost of Rs. 939 crores and dubbed it " another example of corruption."
