THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As many as 405 applications were received at the Defence pension adalat at the Kanakakunnu Palace here on Thursday. An official release issued here said the adalat cell, which had been functioning for the past one month, had received 405 complaints and 70 per cent of them had been settled. The Additional Controller General of Defence Accounts, New Delhi, V.K. Mishra, inaugurated the adalat. He said that there were 22 lakh Defence pensioners at present.
