BANGALORE: The two Indian Air Force (IAF) officers, who have been served with notices by the city police to appear before it on Thursday in connection with the sexual harassment complaint lodged by Flying Officer Anjalli Gupta have sought time. According to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), N. Shivakumar, the two officers Sqdn. Leader R.S. Choudhary and Wg. Cdr. V.C.Cyriac sought further time "as they were busy with court martial work. They have been permitted to appear at a later date," Mr. Shivakumar told The Hindu . The Vimanapura Police on Wednesday had issued notices to Sqdn. Ldr. R.S. Choudhary, Adjutant, Wg. Cdr. V.C. Cyriac, Chief Administrative Officer at ASTE, Air Commodore Anil Chopra and flying officer, Gupta herself. She refused to accept the notice. Air Cmdre Chopra was not served notice as he was in New Delhi on a different posting.
